Was told I could remove an aftermarket air filter and such and return to be fixed. When I returned 5 min after removing I was told I would need to go to a performance shop to get my non modified engine looked at.. we’re pretty rude in how they talked to me and my family.

Josh I'm sorry you feel that way. The performance modifying items we were talking about was the wiring effecting the performance control modifications. It had nothing to do with your air intake. Lets be truthful here OK? I was trying to send you to a known performance expert. nothing more. Oh and We're is an abbreviation for "WE ARE" not the intended use of were.

it has taken them over a day and a half for a muffler delete. unacceptable

Sorry you feel that way. We are a very small shop and prioritize repairing vehicles so adults can get to work over making exhaust loud.
